If people want to waste their time reading YA, I don't care. The problem with YA getting so big is that aspects of the YA culture have begun infesting other areas of the book world. You now get crap like sensitivity readers in the non-YA industry, and YA-style cardboard characters and trite plots in books that are supposedly non-YA.

Maybe you had no friends in high-school therefore teen dramas are unrelatable.
