• Mansfield Park, by Jane Austen
• Bleak House, by Charles Dickens
• Madame Bovary, by Gustav Flaubert, translated to the English Language by one Eleanor Marx Aveling
• “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson
• Swann’s Way, by Marcel Proust, translated to the English Language by one C.K. Scott Moncrieff
• “The Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka, translated to the English Language by Willa and Edwin Muir
• Ulysses, by James Joyce
Also—:
• Lectures on Russian Literature, by Vladimir Nabokov
• Dead Souls, by Nikolay Gogol, any Translation being acceptable
• "The Overcoat" by Nikolay Gogol, translated to the English Language by one Bernard Guilbert Guerney
