Nope, the final boss is the first boss again but even more powerful than you ever realized.

like yesterday when I read some Stanford-type Wikipedia page about existentialism. I don't think I am capable of taking the leap unfourtunetly. I'll just sit on the cliff's edge and wait until it is over.

Existentialism is for pseuds though. Imagine being in the same category as Camus, Sartre and other gloomy losers

kierkegard prefigures them by 100 years. “Existentialism” was invented by Sartre

I read Fear and Trembling. Is this how it all goes? 100 pages to express something that could be expressed much less? Or was I filtered

Kirkegaard is the ultimate christard cope. After all your "rational" arguments have been demolished you either accept reality or create a philosophy that emphasizes emotion over reason to rationalize your delusions.

Very good, at times he is a challenge even to native readers. Wittgenstein managed in about a year, but he was of course a bona fide genius and wealthy enough to focus on studies.

You weren't filtered by Kierkegaard takes a lot of effort as he is communicating indirectly with his pseudonymous works.

Anyone looking to understand what Kierkegaard thought without reading his works should read pic related.

I reckoned as much. I guess it's an end goal to strive for at least. Do you have any suggestions for good Danish literature that's written at a more accessible level?

Kierkegaard's opus is entirely contingent on the reader accepting the story of Abraham as truth. If you don't do this then Fear and Trembling's argument has no meaning to you. In which case, the final boss of philosophy is implied to be the bible

you're sort of right, he repeats himself a lot but it's mostly helpful. the problem is that if you aren't christian then you've been retroactively filtered, there's no point in F&T otherwise. try either/or, that'll be way more entertaining
