Why do people slobber over logos when it's only mentioned once in the entire bible.

They’re parallel and closely similar concepts. A perennial philosopher, of course, or Theosophist (that looks like a Theosophical diagram) would say they’re such similar ideas precisely because the same Nameless Transcendental Truth inspired figures in both cultures.

Medieval theologians. Intellectuals that had to live in a theocracy, made for illiterate farmers, invented up all sorts of weird theories to make Sky Daddy look more interesting.
Literally grasping at straws.
Theology is the biggest cope in human history.

No, logos is roiughly equivalent to maya, at least from a non-dualist perspective: logos represents an idea of truth which is verbal-conceptual, even if it ultimately transcends human understanding, whereas brahman is entirely above the level of conceptuality

why did they have to make the stories more interesting if the farmers had no means to access those stories, pretty sure they didn't give a shit about such useless details
no it was simply a circle jerk of bored nerds

yes, they are the same thing: abstractions resulting from too much naval gazing without an ounce of real world value or applicability. Also the same as "The Force" in star wars.

please show me brahman in the attached pic

Logos is more like dharma, in terms of a universal organising principle.

>brahman is entirely above the level of conceptuality

so brahma is the equivalent of the buddhist sunyata then

>> No.18961358

>>18961087
No, becuase sunyata is defined by them as the lack of inherent existence of everything. Saying something is beyond conceptuality isn’t the same as saying that it lacks intrinsic existence.

He was the first to employ it as a form of philosophical terminology, and all subsequent uses after were more mundane in their usage.

No one said he was the only one to use the term, but if you don't understand the importance of Hereclitus you need to read more.
