Thanks, Waldunchad. I'm planning to do a full rewrite of the book (which is only realistically 150 pages of shitty, easily rewriteable prose,). My whole point is to rewrite Waldun's book in a few weeks and make it better than what "five editors" and several writers could do in two years. I like the sentiment but a full re-write is too much. There's no Waldun here. Instead of changing his mistakes you should contextualize them. For example, that first sentence works if you have enough autism to analyze to hell and back (as seen in the other thread) and a few edits later could keep that autism alive.
Beef up the man of history, condense a few Archer scenes, explain the Rogues a bit more... It'd be less work (but still a lot of work) and more true.
