It’s not a real science
>inb4 chinese ai can detect criminals with 99% accuracy
Do you really believe such obviously false headlines?
The CCP claims this but in all likelihood the “criminals” identified were dissidents already registered in their database.

Why does something need to be "science" in order to be truthful and/or insightful? What is your definition of science in this case, and does it include everything which is factual?

>midwit who believes in techne-possessed Enlightenment "science" unaware of its destructive capicity to nature and art and any sense of humanitas in the narrow sense

>> No.18927469

You can benefit from both science and the humanities. In fact, I'd argue you can't benefit without both. With that said, anything that purports or postures as a science deserves to be scrutinized by scientific standards. Physiognomy is pseudoscience. Saying so does not negate the importance of beneficial non-sciences.
