Is reading books on a laptop /lit/ approved?

I'm going to study my online anthropology career (3 years) to my grandparents little beach home which is 50km from any town and I don't have enough money for a kindle now nor could I buy one there (nothing ships that far), I only bring my laptop, is it ok to read my books on a laptop? and yes there is wifi in there

I pirate all my books and read it on my Mac.
It’s definitely /lit/ approved.

If it is acceptable by you because I admire you and your opinion is very important for me

Doesn't matter if you actually read. Don't buy a kindle though

well that's very kind of you to say, but my acceptance shouldn't matter to you at all. For what its worth, I often read pdfs on my desktop pc and experience has taught me that a blue light filter and proper distance (30-40cm at a minimum) between your eyes and the screen is ideal. Good luck with your studies, and enjoy your grandparents, there are few people in your life who will love you like a grandparent will.

I find it much more comfortable to just read on my phone.

It'll fuck you eyes, and you can't read them on bed (unless laptop is very light).
Just use your phone.
