Was berserk worth reading post Golden age? I stopped reading once the annoying little kids became central characters. It's a shame because I wanted to understand Griffith better but it started to feel like I was reading a children's cartoon

Not a tool, he was the only one who was somewhat similar to him, and he respected that, almost admired him for it (although, of course, Griffith is unable to admire anyone besides himself)
