Putting Karamazov at the end puts emphasis on the fact that they are Karamazovs, not that they are brothers. The word "brother" could be applied to any group of brothers, but Karamazov can only be applied to one family. The original russian is in the order "brothers Karamazov" so it makes sense to keep it in that order, since the meaning is still retained in English.

You know it's going to be bad because the very title is translated in such a way that many Russianisms are going to be lost from the book, with the only thing "Russian" remaining being the town and character names. It's translated the way the translator envisions the book, and is boldly saying "I make no attempt to keep the author's original vision".

Nothing to do with the topic at all. Perfect, idiomatic English.

Nothing you say will ever change the fact that we say the Grimm brothers in English. Every single case could be contrary to this, which it isn't because you can't give any examples that are even near to it, and it still wouldn't change the fact that if we say it like this then it is proper English. Do you know why? Because doing otherwise is marked and therefore a failure of translation, because neither the German or Russian is marked like the English is marked. This is because they are writing exactly how they would say 'The Grimm Brothers' and (more properly) 'The Karamazov Brothers'. In English, no one ever says brothers <surname> except in these titles and any other example of shitty, literal translation. In fact it's even worse because an Englishspeaker immediately anticipates you're going to list the names of brothers. Like we would in proper English 'the brothers: name A, name b, etc.'

To ignore such trivial things as this is to fail at translation. There's so much more beyond the domain of linguistics that must be translated, you cannot hope to even begin if you get stuck here. Try translating a language that is totally different.

Also note how 'Brothers Karamazov' omits the article. This is because Russian doesn't have articles. Though proper English requires articles, in this case there is a precedence for dropping articles specifically in titles. So you can translate it either way without it being marked. If translating into German and most languages that have articles, you likely could not drop it without it being marked (because they are not English). its completely inappropriate to compare Russian and English with Bodo or treat them on equivalent fields. Mr. Whoreson's treatment of language is as if all tounges are just sets of laws that can be scientifically analyzed irrespective of familial ties. His idea of how "sam" could be translated to in English could be cleared up by simply checking the etymological dictionary and seeing its cognate with the word "same" and trying to understand the implicit logic and relations which modified that word's position in the total structure of the language through its common ancestor. In a very basic sense there is no real difference between Russian and English and I mean that absolutely; the only differences are sound changes, morphological splits, and syntactical developments. Otherwise they are nearly the same language and to act like they are both some sort of cipher to an inner reality of the author's "true meaning" is absurd and stupid; translation is only the business of approximation and recoordination, stylistic nitpicking is surface level.

I think a Dostoyevsky cover should feature characters with complex or troubled expressions better showcasing the internal strife his characters usually go through, the empty slate expressions of these mannequins are simply not representative of the works they're slapped on.
