Yes. Most people who criticise that book obviously hasn't read it. We're clearly living during a time when liberal democracies have no serious ideological opponents. Online fascist/Marxist larpers does not count.
However, he never argues that today's status quo will last forever. He's open to the very probable scenario that there will be ideological shifts in the future.
