I don't know anything about Punjabi/Indian history. Can you explain?

Where I live, Hispanics are the majority, many are Hispano-Teutons, but frankly people are segregated. Punjabis own many businesses, but are even more isolated. I know one Punjabi-Teuton mix and he married a Jew and became a coastal elite.
