Hello /lit/. I'll be sincere, this is my first time posting here. I'm kind of just hoping for some suggestions on some fantasy audiobooks that I can maybe get into. Audiobooks aren't typically my thing, most of my life has been vidya. But I'm older now and work and school are continuously taking up more of my spare time. But I still enjoy getting lost in fantastical worlds. So I guess I'm looking for a good entry level series to dip my feet in. I'd really appreciate any suggestions you guys have.

If you want free audiobooks, check out ‘myanonamouse’
It’s a little strict making an account. But once you do you get access to the majority of audiobooks you can think of. I had a little trouble at first finding some torrent sites for audio books so hopefully that’s a start. ‘Graphic audio’ do some interesting work on movie like audiobooks with voice actors and ambient sound design which is pretty cool if you want something fun and different. They’ve done most of Sanderson works.

Here are two Graphicaudio books by Sanderson if you want them. I'll leave them up a while if you or anyone else want them.

The Darkness That Comes Before or The Black Company if you want something less serious.

This series disappointed me. The Hobbit is amazing, The Felowship of the Ring is good, The Two Towers was fucking shit, and the last part was shit too.

I do think that Fellowship is the peak of the series, it has the comfy travel with buddies atmosphere and I guess The Hobbit scratches the same itch although a bit more shallow, but the last two I thought were also really good. What did you dislike about them?

I'm currently finishing the Warlord Trilogy by Bernard Cornwell on audiobook and I highly recommend it. The narration has been very good. I've seen the series categorized as "historical fantasy" so I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for in terms of genre

The best fantasy audiobooks in my opinion are all mythology.
Last year I was on watch from midnight to 4 AM in a tiny booth on a pier in the middle of a snowstorm. Audiobook’d my way through Gaiman’s Norse Myths. 10/10 experience
