How to make bombs. How deploy them. Small unit tactics. Interrogation techniques. Intelligence gathering methods.

Even if you follow professional firearms trainers on youtube or wherever, they will avoid giving specifics about the tactics and methods they teach because they legitimately don't want just anyone to know. But if you go to a class or talk to people that have (usually marksmanship is offered in basic classes, tactics aren't offered until a second tier of classes are taken), they will give you specifics that open up a whole new field of knowledge that you didn't know existed.

Everyone has heard the words "ambush", "overwatch", or "recon". But they are just vague terms. 99.99% of people don't actually know how to conduct them.

Just to be a little less vague; the fundamentals of marksmanship are trigger control, sight picture, and sight alignment. Many gun owners know this in some way, but it's a lot different to train those independent skills that to just learn how to "aim". Likewise, the fundamentals if tactics are shooting, moving, and communicating. This can be done in many ways under many circumstances. I can personally think of 2 elements of an ambush, leading to 8 different types, and some can be "inverted". But if you've never been exposed to training, it doesn't really mean anything to you. And that's done on purpose.

It was truly fascinating when I was exposed to them, especially as a student of military history.

Ragnar Benson, my second favorite author, has some books that might be interesting to you. Also, the IRA's Greenbook was one of the first books on guerrilla warfare that really got me interested. The last 1/3 of it is just anti-interrogation techniques that are obviously written by someone who has been in those situation.

joining the infantry really opened up a new perspective as an appreciator of military history for me
For instance, my out-of-shape National Guard unit recently did a 2 kilometer (in a straight line) movement to an objective as part of a company attack exercise. Light work, everyone was thinking. The helicopters put us down and we leave the clearing into the woodline, and immediately it is the thickest fucking tangle of undergrowth I have ever trudged through. Every footstep is dragged back by crawling vines and thorn branches. Add on to that a 60 pound ruck and the SAW, I was absolutely gassed and the whole thing took HOURS. A (supposedly) 2 kilometer hike. Point being, from then on reading about some army getting ambushed in the woods or arriving to battle after a long march took on new meaning.

They're incredibly foundational to their respective periods (classical Rome, classical near east, early modern Christendom) but feel so in a very oblique way, like their influence extends beyond what is typically taught about those periods in surface-level academia. They feel like weird esoteric wells for exegesis that extends beyond what is taught conventionally and requires a deeper interest.

Other things that give me a more watered down feeling like this are the wisdom books of the Bible and some of the more fringe writings of Jung.

Former paratrooper here. For marksmanship, another fundamental is body position. It's extremely important to think of your body as a base of support for the weapon system: prone, kneeling, or standing, you need to have firm contact with the ground. The most stable position is prone with your toes pointed out so you get a lot of surface contact between your body and the ground If you support a weapon with an elbow on your knee you want to avoid having the bony joints stacked one on the other because this is very un-steady. Stack the fleshy tricep on the knee joint or alternatively, the elbow joint on the meaty quadricep for steady support.

> How to make bombs. How deploy them.

Eh this information is not spoon fed but there's plenty of resources available and they aren't difficult to find. Thing is explosives are inherently dangerous and also require hands on experience. So most home made attempts at bombs either fail completely or someone fucks themselves up while making it by setting off a sensitive primary. I think that's why the info isn't clamped down on as much as you'd think. Some retard who tries to use TATP without knowing what they're doing is 99% more likely to hurt themselves than anyone else

Hitman by Rex Feral. Most of the specifics in the books are outdated (like how much to charge or how to travel and get fake IDs cause it was written pre-911) but it's still very interesting.

And Left of Bang might be interesting. It's definitely applicable. It's about the identifiers of violence. Like how do "bad guys" act. Part combat training, part psychology.

>>18661240
I would normally understand that to be a "technique", like with grip, but that might just be semantics at that point and you're definitely right that it is very important and will affect your shooting and should be trained.

>>18661395
Making them maybe, but deploying them not really. For example, there was an old SAS technique where they would take two charges, make them right triangle shaped, and put them on opposing sides of a bridge's support beam sort of "next to" each other but on the opposite side. So a right triangle on top, and another on the bottom. The force created by the charges would act in opposite direction, the bottom going up, the top going down. And since they weren't placed in the exact same location, but are essentially adjacent, the explosions acting in opposite directions will shear the support beam, making it much more effective.

Then there's also stuff about secondary explosive attacks and using them to target police and EMTs (AQ uses that somewhat frequently).

But yea, I don't ever fuck with explosives cause even if I had justification to use force to defend myself, there's no guarantee that I wouldn't hurt myself and other. Even shooting exploding targets for fun seems like needless risk.

For me it's pic related, anything by Slavros for that matter. If you can stomach the overly-casual writing tone and a bit of the edge you'll actually find some good philosophy in his works if you're right wing. If you're left wing or a liberal, you'll probably hate it, but controversy comes with the territory of forbidden knowledge.

Why bother?
I've read Seduction, Mastery, and War. Loved 48 Laws of Power but he just would have stopped there. I love his style of writing as it's entertaining to read but dude, if you read 48 Laws of Power, you've essentially read all his work, and it just gets more redundant and problematic with each new book.

Big problem with Greene is his deliberate use of differentiated psychologists' perspectives or philosophers of different schools of thought. He just switches between them whenever it suits his argument which makes no sense because they contradict each other. Its the pettiest mistake in psychoanalysis.

Not that Anon, but for me it was a similar feeling; herein lies a school of thought which was almost hidden from mainstream perception. I had to study the Hermetica and other associated texts for two years before I could confidently say what the subject was about.
And in it is something beautiful, it is the warm embrace of the Father, and a coda of the Son. It is not a road necessary for all, but for some it is a call impossible to deny. You are no longer fixed in the epistemic empire of western rational mind, which is really freeing, once you realize we are copies from copies from copies, just spouting shit we inherited from our predecesors, which at the end of the day were really flawed human beings, very much like us.

Eh this information is not spoon fed but there's plenty of resources available and they aren't difficult to find. Thing is explosives are inherently dangerous and also require hands on experience. So most home made attempts at bombs either fail completely or someone fucks himself up while making it by setting off a sensitive primary. I think that's why the info isn't clamped down on as much as you'd think. Some retard who tries to use TATP without knowing what he's doing is 99% more likely to hurt himself than anyone else

The most dangerous book I ever read was a neuroscience textbook from the 1990's.
Almost nothing in it is still taught, but nothing in it was dis-proven.
It remains a physical record of the power of revisionism.

I have challenged modern psychologists with the ideas in it, and they were unable to refute them.
Immediately they claim the studies invalid, but were able to provide no compelling case in opposition; or quantify WHY the studies were invalid.

I read this book when I was 14, an advanced reader I came upon it by chance and immediately was drawn to the illustrations and graphs.
From this point on, I had understood concepts which none of my peers were exposed to and which shaped by worldview.
Nothing in this book would be remarkable- what was remarkable was that reading it "in the wrong order" I was subsequently unable to swallow the lies told to me afterwards.
As years past, the lies mounted but nothing in this book was ever proven to be false through my life experience.

What was in this book?
>studies showing physiological reaction (notably facial expression) was genetically programed and common to all races of man.
From knowing this, I became increasingly skeptical of Marxists and their "social construct".
A smile is not a social construct, revulsion at a dead animal is not a social construct.
At this time "gender" being a social construct was not even proposed, but there were many "social constructs" which I saw clearly as biological responses.
>IQ benchmarking
The author was clear that there was no general "intelligence"- these tests were of arbitrary ability sets.
Several skills may have all stemmed from a single ability, many abilities may contribute to one skill.
But what I learned and cannot un-learn is that individuals have a biological difference in capability- we are not equal.
From this I questioned our education system; if students were not equal in ability going into the system and education itself could not overcome this what was the actual intent?
>the fight or flight response
Knowing fear and aggression were linked was pivotal to my personal development- at the time I simply conceived it as "people can't be angry and scared at the same time".
From this I observed that the physical lashing out of a scared person or animal was not aggression in the true sense, it merely facilitated flight.
For the first time I was also able to understand fully why when I failed to display fear others would perceive me as aggressive.
>The visuo-spacial-semantic link
That the brains perception of physical space and meaning was inherently linked in memory.
For reasons I still do not understand people subconsciously assign meaning to space and vice versa.
Later I would see this explained in many ways, often as a superstition or art

This knowledge would not help you now, you swallowed all the blue pills already and this cannot be undone.
All you would get is dissonance, confusion, and ultimately reject the teachings

Because anyone can read, and accept what they have read.
But as you read more it becomes harder to synthesize, this is the point you become dissonant.
Having become dissonant, the struggle for learning ends and the struggle for truth begins.
Learning will no longer help you, vainly you will gain more and more knowledge but will remain unable to root out the dissonance.
Succumbing, the weak bury that which causes the most dissonance and abandon hope for truth.

The irony is man from birth has no dissonance, there is no conflict in nature.
A child's perception of nature matches their perception of self, the natural order is established from first principles.
A man will become a good man, in keeping with his nature, his experiences forming a synthesis.
It is only in his search for knowledge that he learns what he has not experienced; and thus encounters a truth which is at odds with his own lived experience.
Lies and misconceptions are easily dismissed, but the disjuncture between known truth and unknown truth creates a void.
The first sin is arrogance, man knowing what truth he has seen and knowing truth which is revealed to him rather than accepting ignorance of the space inbetween starts to fill this space with lies.

You may tell people the truth, but they will not discard the lies which bridge what they know to be true and what truths have been revealed to them.
Time will pass and what you tell them is just buried, they become more dissonant.
Dig at their dissonance; by speaking the truth you commit a crime far greater and will be declared an enemy.

At the point you can no longer reconcile that which you know, I urge you to stop learning.

the more I waste away my life on /lit/ and /x/ the more I see that there is no book that will truly change anything. The human condition is so attenuated on presupposed context of the individual that no fact objectively in particular would change a person. It's only after the subconscious is repeatedly exposed to something or that something fits in with the zeitgeist of your mind that anything will ever actually CHANGE who you are. None of these books will give you the secret to being a millionaire or immortal, those goals only happen after you fundamentally change who you are by rapid consumption and meditation and THEN a guide on how to do anything. The world is so fucked. I'm so fucked. I want to die. And I still haven't done enough to change those thoughts from my default. Graeber's 5000 years of debt was one of the best nonfiction books I've read in years, but how did it actually change my day to day life? How did it effect who I am as a person? This book will dry my dick out. I barely got to the second part and I've already masturbated around 10 times. I imagine Aliosha as a skinny, shy, blonde femboy with pink cheeks and lips—whenever he interacts with someone I immediately think of him getting his ass fucked right there. Every time he says something gentle or does something out of shyness I picture him reluctantly kneeling, with a bit of an ashamed and annoyed expression, and taking a cock in his mouth. Being a nice holy boy, he would give it some tentative licks, and would not be able to look the man whose dick he is sucking in the eye. I have a very complete repertory of Aliosha fantasies. His father would make him sit on his lap and Aliosha would grind his pretty little ass on his dick just because his dad asked him to. In the monastery, he would slowly lift his cloak, revelaing his soft, white thighs, and the staret would touch them like Humbert would touch Lolita. Then, Aliosha would lift his cloak a bit more, exposing his round, pink ass; and get on all fours, ready to take some dick. Thinking of him blushing while he gets groped by some old men turns me on terribly. What should I do?

Genuinely, I didn't read the gospels until I was 24 and I became unbelievably dumfounded by my culture. To me, it was not only downright flooring that the most promulgated religion of all time was so... weak, but that it was a promethean moment in human history, in that not only good one repent, but God gave us the ability to forgive one another. It was shocking that, even having been confirmed in a church, the teachings of Christ are almost too much to bear in that they are so profoundly consistent and true that one loses the ability to preach about them. So yeah, the whole gospel of Matthew feels like it's forbidden and stolen from God.

Canetti was somewhat furious about WWII and you can feel it in this book, which is simultaneously passionate in an understated way and dispassionate in its treatment of the subject of human groups as distinct types of organisms. Excellent book, an anthropological treatment of the subject of crowd forms and power, the use of the word "crowd" here may be taken liberally, but he spends a fair amount of time distinguishing between types of crowds and groups, and gets into what may be considered modes of human belief and thought that apply more to a psychoanalytic understanding of the human creature as an individual as well as in a group. The group/social aspect of a human being integral to the experience of "being human".

Good book.

Women are like software and they sync up to literal robotic content management systems these days and no one has money but the welfare state and the crooked bankers who pump and dump them these days.
I read Bang after having much success with women (body count 6 in 10 years) and consider myself above Roosh in womanizing as you should otherwise you'll never convince yourself you're acting on good principles you can use for yourself. Roosh mastered the hookup. I think I mastered courtship and contracts. He went for quantity I went for quality bonding. Roosh however realized that crowds and markets are like women and he trumped me there big time. He seduced his readership into Jesus worship. Damn Roosh could be an E-commerce giant if the world wasn't censoring him and he put his head to it.

I totally understand what you mean. Most of life is about (sub)consciousness or (un)awareness. Books can teach you, show you new ways, give you truth. They don't however give you change.

You have to find out why you think the world and you are fucked and why you want to die. Figure that out. What's wrong? I'm reading Meditations right now and it's greatly helping my thoughts and mindset. I advise you to read it.

Though, I already think ahead and see myself not changing. I am raised without ambition and discipline, and didn't teach myself either. I can have great motivation, but I have no goal.
I'm really curious if there's books that teach you discipline, that make you DO instead of think.

In the end I guess it's about what you do as a person and, if you want change, if you take responsibility of your own life. I don't think anything can make you do that, since it's a choice. Do you wanna sit around, do nothing, whine and cry about a fucked world and wanting to die? Or do you want to fulfill your task as a human, be one with nature, take responsibility and if you think the world is fucked join a political party..

This book and Philosopher feels like he was covered up after ww2 outside of Germany. His thought was so radical to me that I can't imagine he was not read. It articulates so much about the current world that its insane.
