You're dropped into a remote and isolated island, and you're allowed to bring 10 books with you. What are those titles, /lit/?

>> No.18658123

probably like 8 books about various aspects of survival
and then probably like Watchmen and a book on how to grow coca plants and make cocaine

10 of the thickest notebook I can find. Literature would serve little purpose to me in such a situation.

Like I said, useless. Your life will suck and you will die if you are concerned about fun.

Not all that useful, much of the technical information is wrong/tweaked for artistic purposes.

Honestly a desert island scenario would be the only scenario where I'd feel energized and willing to live

>> No.18658310

I am already quite capable in the wilds, have gone on a great number of extended camping trips (1 to 3 months) with little more than gear and lived off the land in a backwoods cabin for 2 years. My camping trips have been as far north as Alaska as as far south as Patagonia. My job is clearing trails and maintenance for the DNR, a big storm or straight line winds can send me out to the deep forest for months. Slow summer so far, only standard trail/portage/campsite maintenance.

Not really. Some of us do have an existence away from books.

You have no pencil.

I'd bring a fucking Bible and 9 Survival Guides.

>> No.18658645

>You have no pencil.
Small bamboo, ash+spit/cum for ink

>> No.18658654

>>18658603
Any island which can support life will have plants which can be used to make ink, not difficult to make a water based ink especially if you are not picky about the color. Failing that charcoal is simple to make and any salty or sugary liquid can be used as a fixative so it lasts and does not smear if need be, a tree or plant sap would probably be best since. Since this island is remote it is almost certainly in the ocean, so squid are avail for ink as well, or any animals blood, even my own. All you see is obsticals in life when all there really is are opportunity.

>What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

>How do you know he was not the originator?
>The Navy Seal Copypasta is believed to have originated on the military and weapons enthusiast image board Operator Chan sometime in 2010. The earliest archived posting was submitted on November 11th, 2010 to 4chan’s /jp/ (Otaku Culture) board, in which the poster claimed to have seen the message previously on Operator Chan.

After 10 years, it's unlikely he's the originator.

I stopped paying much attention to pasta a decade ago or so. Not all of us are here on a daily basis and it should be apparent from the above description of my lifestyle/job that i am absent from this place for long periods. Been coming here since the start, remember when the board was all new and exciting.

However, that will eventually get old so only two mags of that, then hopefully some print version exists for BBC Cuck porn, plumpers, hentai, traps, vore, and loli.
