The catholic rebuttal that Sola scriptura isn't actually in scripture always made struck me as a good point. My issue isnt when they directly contradict scripture. Eg. The claim that Mary was a virgin her whole life even though the scripture directly references Christ's siblings on many occasions without ambiguity. They'll go into mental gymnastics to shoe horn their belief by saying the Bible actually meant cousin's , when in fact it didn't. Sola scriptura can't be sound doctrine because scripture talks about prophets giving words from the Lord in the future, but scripture is sacred and taking away from scripture is a problem.
