what can you write about if
a. you have practically no experience with other people
b. you have no experience with the world
and c. you can't remember the last time you felt a strong emotion

also, can you recommend any novels by confirmed schizoids?

Just self-insert yourself into your shit, anon. You got your own experience, that is what most writers use.

an obituary... but srsly how about leaving the house and just finding a coffee shop or some other temp manual labor job/gig and gain some experience you can motivate your dead imagination with.

it is a problem that people constantly write what they know because they lack the empathy and creativity to understand and explain what they haven't experienced. therefore the best way to work around said issue is to gain some form of experience as a basis to work from.

>and just finding a coffee shop
and become R. C. Waldun? no thanks
>motivate your dead imagination with.
i'm not really sure it's dead. I just fear that if i try to write something it will come out bad or affected or incorrect, and i think that's a reasonable fear. i can't say much about the human condition because i never speak to people irl to know it
>gain some form of experience as a basis to work from.
i know this is the probably most reasonable answer, but it's easier said than done
how am i supposed to actually talk to people and get to know them on an intimate level? am i to do this just to get experience for writing? it will become plainly clear to them if this is the case, and they won't open up

look at those excuses and extremes. going to a coffee shop doesn't suddenly turn you into another person. sounds like your more afraid of doing shit and failure than realizing you need failure in order to grow and produce. you're not going to learn human interaction by avoiding all forms of it except the ones that make you safe, comfy, and only benefit you in one specific way. stories are about growth and conflict in some form... the only thing you seem to have experience in, is stunted growth and self defeat. so maybe write about that?
