How do you feel about the novel The Secret History By Donna Tartt /lit/?

Just a potboiler lacking in literary merit? Or a Future Classic?

I like her books. I think we have been tainted by this expectation for ground working treatises on the human condition in the form of “literary fiction” but it need not be that. These are just decent stories, if a little cliche. Were it not for the fanbase, /lit/ would probably like them.
