What bothers me is that I'm 75% sure that Jay is exploiting RC for his money, taking advantage of the generous allowance that RC gets from Mommy and Daddy, and RC's insecurity and desperation to be accepted as a white person and a bone fide writer.

Look at this Instagram post dated May 22. He says that around March 22, he was "funded to write full time" and yet there's nothing on his Instagram page or his Youtube channel that indicates he's won a fellowship or scholarship. So what does that phrase mean?
