That's one of the authors giving a Google Talk, running through a relevant example from the day to introduce a concept to the audience. As he explains, he and his partner are computational neuroscientists and they used the anonymity of the internet to conduct the largest sex study in history. They had a lot of different sites and sources provide them data and their findings were tremendously interesting. That talk is terrific and a great use of the 40 minutes or so, even if you don't want to read a whole book.
