Why do so many philosophers despise modernity? Are there any that embrace it?

because you only wouldn’t if you are stupid and cow-like in nature. Philosophy is inherently aggressive.

Philosophers despise the common evils of any time. Modern ones analyze the generation and concealment of modern evils.

Life itself doesn't change, its properties do. “Embracing” something transitory that sometimes happens is most often limited to attention to external changes. In most shallow form, like in discussions of rockets and self-driving cars, it's just unworthy journalism.

My pet theory is that MOST were dweebs who didn’t fit in while they were in their teens. So they yearn for a past mythical golden age. A bit like how weeaboos think they’ll be happy if they go to Japan.

Everything is a social construct, some of them are just useful for navigating the world more accurately than others.
Belief and internal narrative are what define "reality" far more so than the objective truth of that external stimulus.

That's your opinion, and you can't prove it because you believe nothing is objective. It's a self-defeating game. People like you are the <80IQ idiots who always make themselves known with these claims.

Yes, people with an IQ of 80 are all going around talking about subjective social realities. How could I forget all the people with down syndrome who believe in German Idealism and have an understanding of contemporary neuroscience and social sciences?

Correct.
>believe in German Idealism
Retards believe in all kinds of things. Kantian idealism, the only reasonable type, does not assert "all truths are social constructs." If that's what you got from Kant then you literally cannot be helped, because he said exactly the opposite.
