You're right. I've gotten halfway through Revolt and have read Metaphysics of war, but didn't take away much from them. The reason I dislike Evola is that a lot of people who have read him or claim to have, have this sort of annoying 'edgier than thou' demeanor. I'm more interested in practical politics and history, and my eyes start weighing heavy when people blather on about spiritual transcendence and so on.
