Honestly, from all things people take pride in, the aquisition of literature really isn't something we should talk down - especially as it's great to get recs from similar minds. It's like walking through a friends library or an atiquarian book shop and get ice surprices plus the benefit of being able to talk with the owner which most likely has read it already if it's any good.

I get it that those which can't affort physical copies get salty but you people could just as well make a cover collage to contribute instead of bashing a thread which really doesn't belong to the worst of /lit/.
