I liked it, but I couldn’t help but feel that he’s making some pretty big leaps in cognition between his studies on animals and human behaviour. A lot of the inferences he’s making don’t seem to have a solid backing from human studies. It’s fiction, but I actually preferred Walden Two as an outline of his ideas.

Based shelf by why do you have Runaway Horses by Mishima, the second book in the Sea of Fertility Tetralogy, but not the first book nor the third or fourth book? Seems random. I read Angels Decay or whatever the fourth book is called before realizing it was a part of a series, then reread it again years later when I read all four books in succession, was infinitely better the second time around with the context

Maybe it was the translation, or the way Camus writes that feels very rough, but I had an extremely hard time following his line of thought. Purley due to the fact that his sentenced don't flow onto another, as if he was writing unrelated things one after another.

His arguments on suicide, absurdism, and such is pretty interesting in hindsight, but personally, I couldn't adjust to his structure of paragraphs. Or maybe I just read it when I was too tired.

But he isn't remotely hard to follow.
You are just used to flowery prose, which overuses commas.
