is there any philosphy/author,or even blog-post about accepting and coping with eternal oblivion after death?
is "the conspiracy against the human race" worth reading in this regard?
Or should I bite the bullet and assume Omega will resurrect me in a billion years?

Really depends on your own perception. There are tons of different views on this subject from many different eras and cultures. Start with the greeks.

Don't worry, the fagg- sorry humanists have you covered
>Epicureanism rejects immortality. It believes in the soul, but suggests that the soul is mortal and material, just like the body.[19] Epicurus rejected any possibility of an afterlife, while still contending that one need not fear death: "Death is nothing to us; for that which is dissolved, is without sensation, and that which lacks sensation is nothing to us."[20] From this doctrine arose the Epicurean Epitaph: Non fui, fui, non sum, non curo ("I was not; I have been; I am not; I do not mind."), which is inscribed on the gravestones of his followers and seen on many ancient gravestones of the Roman Empire. This quotation is often used today at humanist funerals.[21]

what makes you think eternal oblivion is bad
what makes you think you are going to be in oblivion and not getting eternally assraped with a pitchfork in some painfully stereotypical-looking hell

what makes you think you deserve oblivion over pain?

Not only that, but isn't oblivion also preferable to eternal life? Think about how painful and boring your insignificant lifespan already is, now multiple that by infinity. Oblivion is the best possible outcome.

So long as you are alive, it is not a problem, and if God is merciful in His dealings with you, you will be struck dead before you have time to dread it.

They clearly underestimate the unbelievable horror of the youthful human imagination. The concept of mortality as the death in eighty is much more terrifying than the nearing oblivion on your death bed. You still have time to run, yet no matter how fast or how far death will catch you, and all trying is but torture for a humble soul whishing for life.

If you are young and afraid of death---and not a young who feels like hes beyond death---you are already dead. Mature people is not afraid of death.

I completely disagree.
Eternal life in the form of reincarnating into new human lives eternally is preferable to the standard heaven/hell or oblivion.

Personally that's my ideal, being able to live different lives forever. Heaven is boring and insignificant. Reincarnation solves the insignificance problem, each life has meaning because you aren't aware of the other lives you've lived.

I hope the simulation masters make this a reality for me.
