We are in the twilight of literary age! Biopic and self help literature at the top of every list? I wish for original burning cringe. Burning cringe! The Library of Alexandria burned to allow literary minds fizzle into information binary and procedural misanthropic elitism. Where is the good fiction? No ethnic derision and watery prose. I want a water sword. Please someone tell me where I can find one?

Western literature is dying, and that's a good thing. Eastern Literature will soon replace it, and with it, change the face of literature for future generations. Western literature has gotten to politicize, too elitist, and perhaps, close-minded. Yet, you have people here cling to the old ways of traditional publishing, not realizing it is a dying industry that will soon be eclipse by self-publishing. But it is of no concern to me, I will just read eastern literature, for fun.

Famous as one of the great classics of the 20th century but for nothing else I can think of. (Sort of like the Kardashians are famous for being the Kardashians!) I dove in to this expecting it would take more than average concentration but was unprepared for the most boring thing I ever tried to read. After about 100 pages I gave up and turned to my tax return for more pleasurable reading. Nothing happens in the book. The nearest thing to an action scene was a couple of guys peeing against the wall behind the pub.
