I would have been proud of him writing books if he had left it at that. But buying ad space on 4chan, making obvious efforts to carpetbomb the board with posts, even making that /lit/ board game and just magically happening to have himself win it, the constant shilling and same fagging, even adding himself to the /lit/ goodreads group, it all completely reeks of a forced meme.

I was in that thread! It was from the goodreads discord. I think that one was genuinely a funny coincidence. Don’t all writers have to have ads? I don’t necessarily agree with you but the threads are pretty constant.
