My mom reads Harry Potter, Twilight, True Blood, The Hunger Games. I buy them for her. I lend her books to read too, she liked The Hobbit but couldn't get into LOTR.

My mom doesn't care about me at all. I've told her maybe 100 times now that I'm suicidal and very depressed and very alone and she has seen me be in my room all day doing nothing. She doesn't care, she thinks I'm perfectly fine. She just avoids thinking about things that might cause her discomfort so she pretends everybody is fine and happy. I try to talk to her about books but she is like a brick, she listens but it's almost as if its on a counter. She's like "okay I'll listen to you for 2 minutes anon". I have nobody else to talk to about anything so I try to maximize the info. I'm so lonely. I know she loves me but she has no idea how to parent at all. You should be grateful anon.
