I appreciate the use of Bernkastel in this post in connection with Nietzsch'es notion of eternal recurrence.

Will you fucking swine at least read the RELEVANT PASSAGES in Nietzsche before misunderstanding him? I'm not asking you to read all his major works. I'm not even asking you to read the Genealogy, followed by the Birth of Tragedy, followed by Twilight of the Idols, followed by the Gay Science to get a good idea of his thought. That would be too much to demand on a Chinese weeaboard. But by all that is unholy, by your mother's titties, by the uncountable universes of human life in germ within your testes—READ THE FULL QUOTE.

Nietzsche does not say "God is dead" triumphantly. He does not believe he has killed off God. He does not think the world would be better without God. You fool, you fool. In the passage where this line occurs, the man with the lamp realizes he has "come too early" (please stay focused) and that the world is not yet ready to accept that its OWN Weltanschauung now lacks God. The people for whom God created an ultimate meaning no longer find that meaning in God—though these people are not atheists. The death of God is a tragedy for Western culture, but it has happened. Now the project is discovering how to live meaningfully in a world that has lost the standard of all meaning. Again. It is not the edgy atheist saying "God is dead." The more important clause is that WE HAVE KILLED HIM. Our culture moved beyond a sincere belief in God without moving beyond the need for him. That is a bloodsopping dangerous place to be, and we are there. It—is—not—glorious!

>Tldr; we defined the world on the postulate that God is Truth, Good, etc.
If there's no Truth*, may as well play to Cyberpunk - no such thing as a bad game if there's no God to define what's a good game.

(*Nietzsche quoting Hassan I Sabah quoting Assassins Creed)
