Read anything you wanna read man. Idk if we're meant to infer something from you being a traditional black woman in grad school, but pick up whatever interests you. Classic, modern, fiction, non-fic, histories, anthologies, fucking Goosebumps.

If you want something easy, you can start with Frankenstein - Mary Shelley. You've probably high schooled that shit, but it's a fine read. Nothing complicated, interesting characters, not too distracting. The classics are a great way to pass the time.
