Is there anything more useless and joyless than political literature? No matter what ideology you are, there's nothing you can gain from a political work which you can't gain from fiction or poetry.
Political writings should only serve as a supplementary writing to any reader. Treating political writers as any sort of significant talent, or placing your focus as a reader on their writings is moronic.
