Thinking about this book and remembered an anon once linked a PDF that went into detail about the context behind "The Devil" Ivan spoke to.
Anyone have it? Would be appreciated, it was a good read.

Ive always been like a slightly autistic version of Mitya i guess, I suppose i liked alyosha the most but I wonder if the ideal for me would be somewhere in between the two

I thought for a moment that becoming a complete lonely degen like fyador must be one of my greatest fears, but I have no property live off of and am completely useless so I think my greatest fear is that in all likelihood ill probably end up more resembling like the mentally ill homeless woman, or at least the worst of both kek

I've always saw it that of all the brothers Mitya is the one you want to be, Alyosha is clearly the goal ,but I don't think its really possible to be like him in the modern world and be happy. And obviously we all know what happens to Ivan.
