This is something that seems particularly odd to me. On other boards, sometimes even here, there's frequently "humor threads" or "best of [board]", in which people post screencaps of threads, but it seems in spite of this that less and less is actually preserved beyond the same dozen or so threads that get reposted every time. And solely due to their humor or shock value, rather than being a particularly astute or salient series of posts about whatever, which seemed more common a decade ago.

There is a pasta that I have been posting in threads every now and then but nobody seems to notice it. I always get replies like nicely written or something along those lines. Is /lit/ really that popular among tourists?

I mean just search for 4chan on twitter and you will see every other narcissistic obnoxious cunt uses 4chan's name to get le sekert club deep internet edgelord dweller points from their orbiters.
