Is /lit/ a board of involuntary celibates?

That's seems like a voluntary decision from his part.
In any case, there's a substantial number of homosexuals here, too.

Yes. I am. Though I can, and occasionally do, fuck bussy whenever I want. The issue is I’m straight so I consider myself an incel due to my inability to reach women romantically and/or sexually.

wouldn't that post suggest otherwise?

I don't get how having a girlfriend works. I always see guys posting on here about how their gfs always want to go do things with the. But whenever I try to date girls they never invite me to do anything with then and then they complain I'm not texting them enough and I never get past a few dates.

You have to get out of the early dating stage and into the relationship stage first. Keep your head up king, you’ll find your girl soon enough.

The word incel has become oversaturated as an insult and lost it's original meaning. At this point, if you're not having sex daily, you're an incel.

I haven't been intimate with anyone for 27 years now. I do not really know what I am. I only know that I am a social outcast, not being able to get any friends because of it. That is because no one wants to be a friend with a serious failure, whether they are sexual failure or something else, such as someone who lives on the streets. It is also impossible for me to find anyone who has not been intimate with anyone for that long, unless it is someone who is ill or disabled. And people who haven't been intimate with anyone for that long because they are ill or disabled, do not accept someone who is not ill or disabled and have been without intimacy that long as their friends, but consider them losers too. It's different to be sexually hindered than sexually failed. I do not write this to gather sympathy, as I am pretty used to live without intimacy and friends. I fill my time with work, studies and hobbies, and fantasize a lot. I write this because it is important to bring up that there are people who live without intimacy and that it has a huge impact on their lives. First of all, you lack love and sex, and secondly, you will lose your friends, if not immediately, then later and won't be able to make new. And when you have no friends, you will drop out of society. Because now, in the era of social media, EVERYONE needs to have that social media account with at least 100 followers who are decent people, to become hired by someone, or to find partners to collaborate with. Because no one hires a loser with no following. And that following you get by living the life of a socially accepted person, in other words, having friends to post about on your social media page.

Now, I hope that you stick all of this into your heads. These are FACTS of the modern life, no matter how "deranged" they sound when being written down, as you haven't spotted them yourselves. I also hope that someone would write a book about the effects of social media on people's lives, and how it destroys part of the people, those who are being socially rejected irl. Might help us to get rid of the way social media dictates people's fates, for example by making the employers stare less at the social media accounts of their applicants (which is something that happens at least on half of the fields of profession.)

Just drop this here. Just made a search with the term of my favorite topic and this thread popped up. Might bump it up for the information I shared.

Also I do not read much even if I'd like to, as I can't afford a pair of new glasses and haven't been able for years.

>I am working on my PhD in Pharmacology so I can get a job solely on my research work.
Yes, what I said does not apply to every field of profession. But it applies to many and it applies to ALL creative fields. For example, if you try to succeed as an artist, it is VITAL to have that social media account, to advertise your skills, work and personality. And yeah, you need to have that certain amount of followers too, unless you want to be ignored or seen as somehow flawed and dangerous person.
>I am 23 right now and I dont really care about sex/getting married/having kids (Sour grapes?...)
You will get back to it at some point, caring about those things. But maybe it's better to discard them for now, and concentrate into your work. You need to have a TOP research work to find that employment, not having wide social networks. People use those on all fields of profession to employ themselves even if their social media page wasn't being checked.

I think getting a PhD is pure cope. You spend your youth trying to achieve some higher goal instead of having fun like the others. If you could party and fuck like everyone else you wouldnt be drawn to something that helps you avoid all that. If you are not skilled/talented then you end up like the regular incels who also dont have any success anywhere else.

No I do not have crypto wallet. And I do not give my contact details to anyone in the internet, unless I know them really well. Sorry. Also I think I will soon be able to buy those new pair of glasses, I have to, to be able to attend some work interviews again. I mean, they won't hire anyone with all worn pair of glasses that do not work anymore so that you have watch over them to be able to read. In my country we may get benefits for buying necessities such as a pair of glasses.

Because you're stupid. Girls rarely have any hobbies or interests of their own except make-up and celebrity gossips.

It is you who dictates what you find interesting and she latches on to those. If a girl has had enough romantic partners she begins to form some sort of hobbies by understanding what guys like. Even then, girls don't actually enjoy it for the hobby's sake but just to please their partners.

P.S. I'm talking about girls. Mature women are quite different.

You don’t get it; celibacy means refraining from sexual activity. Celibacy does not mean refraining from sex. Masturbation is sexual activity that is not sex. Having sex with men is sexual activity. There is a whole world of sexual activity that does not involve women.

>she latches on to those
Women always latch onto things they think are going to bring a man to them or making them more capable of keeping one. That is why they may make a sudden turn from a feminist to a traditionalist/pickme, from a leftie to rightie, from a commie to nazi, from a Christian to Muslim, or the other way round. It's almost as if they had no ability to form their own personal principles or at least no ability to keep them. They are too emotionally driven.
