Salem's Lot was my introduction to King and remains one of my favorites. His best, imo, is The Shining

>> No.17958664

Everything's Eventual is pretty good. I like King's short stories. Two other favorites are The Shining and The Green Mile.

Misery, read Misery.

Of the eight Stephen King novels I've read, The Long Walk is my favorite.

IT was one of my favourite books as a teenager. I haven't read it in a while but I really loved it.
>inb4 someone mentions the child fuck train scene
Yeah that was weird. I wonder if King remembers the coke fuelled night he wrote that on

I promise I’m not memeing, I swear I am being honest - don’t waste your time reading King he’s fucking trash there are so many better authors out there

>> No.17960236

Stephen king is fucking trash. I wasted my time on Salem's lot just because someone recommended it. However, if you're into that trash """horror""" then I can't say much

I dunno, I'm enjoying salem's lot a bunch. The setting I've painted in my head and the atmosphere are perfect. Its a really comfy read for me. If you have better horror novel recommendations I'm absolutely all ears

Salems Lot and It are his best novels. His short fiction is all good, more consistent than his novel.
Don’t let pop-culturefags meme you into thinking you’re not better than reading stephen king
