Fact: This is an outdated concept that isn't really accomplishable today... for the average person. Unless your family is very rich and your parents/guardians invested very early into your education, it is very unlikely that a person can make significant contributions in different fields. At most, you can familiarize yourself with different languages, get degrees in different subjects, and maybe even publish a book or two, but that's just not the same.

Personal Opinion: This is such a childish and naive aspiration. Jack of all trades that are comfortable with universal mediocrity repel me completely.

Scientist, Engineer, Polylinguist, Artist, Author, Philosopher / Theologian / Occultist, Athlete, Craftsman, Chef, Statesman, Educator---the list goes on.
You need to have a firmer grasp of what you have in mind.
