Sixty Stories by Donald Barthelme. It’s kind of Avant Garde or abstract. Barely any plot or character development in any stories. Not sure I really get it but I have been skipping around reading the more famous stories. “Robert Kennedy Saved from Drowning” is interesting. The collage of unlike things together is cool because often the feelings it inspires feels sort of subconscious, like some magic effect or hypnotism.

Listening to and reading
The Consolation of Philosopy Boethius
liking it a lot, even the poetry things, albeit, there's over 25 english translations, it's probably comes and goes
I've gotten really sloppy and slowed down to a halt as if. I gotta start using my timer again and sleep (smarter and more)

Been reading a Dialogue of Plato every day for the last week or so, and then I've got Schopenhauer's WWI on the go. Fiction around bed - either Borges or some poetry, mostly Shelley or Dickinson at the moment.

The initial pages with all the technical jargon and science I thought were going to filter me but goddamn once the whole thing starts, it is so engrossing and everything that happens after the snowfall begins is so fucking hilarious I laughed so hard my jaw actually kind of hurts from keeping that smiley face for 10+ minutes

Finish it.
As far as thoughts go taking out all the religious, circuitous 'reasoning', most the first half is stuff i've considered around my graduation far back. Nothing was learned or gained. Become very predictable and annoying, so i rushed the latter half.
On the other hand, is probably doesn't have much competition from the 6. century, but I judge given what I know and what I've read.
