I can't even express how schizophrenic I have become, I can read literally David Icke now and be like '....well who is to say with certainty...unlikely this could be true but I can't actually...'. I have especially chaotic fluctuations in how much I think historical developments are controlled by either emergent patterns, basically idiocy and accident, vs. groups consciously plotting stuff. This is if you're even willing to actually question things in the first place, which most people are not, because if you question certain things publicly, oops your life is ruined, so most 'questioning' is tailored carefully to social norms, the person doesn't even realize they're doing this, they seriously think they are bravely questioning power and they just happen to never say anything that gets them in trouble with power. Trying to actually know anything about any of this is utterly hopeless in like 15 different ways.
