Why should you read a book about the french Revolution?
Why should you read Plato?
Why Homer, Marx, Dostojewski, Goethe...?

Why should i read anything not directly work related?
Why am i not smoking weed 24/7?

It's the most influential book in western history. Every post-Roman European artist before 1960 has read it and was influenced by it. It's the origin of all sorts of phrases and images and gives us a common cultural background. It's really the only book that is mandatory if you're in any way interested in culture and you shouldn't just read it you should study it.

It has pretty notable literary value in its self, plus reading it will greatly enhance your ability to appreciate 99% of good literature

thats a pretty good secular reason i think, no?

The OT is basically the ideology and manual the jews used to spread their tentacles all over the civilized Mediterranean world. So studying it's many lies may prove to be insightful. It's a very dry read though and if you are unfamiliar with the real history that actually happened you probably wont be able to keep up.

And the NT is a guide on how to be a good goy. "turn the other cheek". Not very interesting but Revelation is pretty crazy. All kinds of monsters appear and surreal stuff goes down therein. That's basically the script they play by when shit goes down and the beast system collapses.

So whites have been ruled by Jews for 2,000 years through Christianity? Kind pathetic. Whites don’t deserve any sympathy but only mockery for this. That means they deserve to be destroyed for being weak.

Look I'm just a little irritated that the number 1 book that is printed and shilled by alot of people as if its something to glorify, has nothing else going for it except for spreading its religion around.

Surely there is more to it?

It has interesting stories and some very cool mythology. But honestly anon, the only good reason to read it is, just as with any other book, that it sounds interesting to you and you are curious about it's content.

so you just hate literature then? what possible reason would you need beyond a piece of work not only having its own high literary value but also influence on pretty much every notable work of literature in a way that reading it will enhance your experience with those works? do you need a book to e-tranfer you $1000 to justify reading it?
