When I'm drinkin whiskey, I know nothin can go wrong,
When I'm drinkin whiskey, only time my mind is strong,
When I got my bottle is when I'm standin tall,
When I'm drinkin whiskey, I don't feel nothin at all,
When I'm good and drunken, can't nobody bring me down,
I like to drink my whiskey when nobody is around,
I know my empty bottle is the only one that understands,
When I'm drinkin whiskey, I forget the man I am,
When I'm drinkin whiskey my hands don't ever shake,
When I'm drinkin whiskey I don't lay in bed awake,
Cause when I got my bottle, I don't care if I'm alive,
Cause when I'm drinkin whiskey, I ain't afraid to die

You do realize that most other drugs grow from the ground and pre-date humanity, right? Opium, marijuana, coca leaf, etc..

Alcohol is legal because it weakens the middle and lower class.

There’s a theory that alcohol may have started civilization actually. Basically the lives of hunter gatherers were way better then early farmers by almost any metric (taller, stronger, lived longer, more sex, more freedom, teeth didn’t rot). So why would anyone become farmers? Well the theory goes that alcohol production started off small but became a highly desired good for trade, so some people in mespotamia settled down on land to produce this alcohol both for trade and for themselves and these people needed to farm wheat since they were no longer nomadic hunters. Gradually communities formed around these farms, until nomadic hunter gatherers conquered them and organized these societies into the first cities initially for the sole purpose of producing alcohol but needing to produce food to for the labor force.

It’s hard to know how accurate the picture I painted is for the establishment of the first cities and civilizations, but judging from historical examples such as the Roman conquest of Gaul and the European colonization first the Americas, I think alcohol must’ve surely played some significant role.

I'm learning Danish and watched this a couple days ago with captions. It was the first Danish language film I'd watched and I missed much of the dialogue but enjoyable nonetheless.

Why don't you stop trying to impose your personal ideology on others, hmm? You shouldn't presume to be an authority on morality. Nobody appreciates unwanted criticism or advice, especially from someone with zero pathos or ethos.
