Saturday night. I sit on my desk with a philosophy book and a coup of milk. I know some people think this is being a loser, but I really enjoy it.

It’s not that you’re a loser so much as it’s bad for you if you do that and only that. We are social creatures, whether we like it or not and this website is living proof that even the most introverted loners among us will crave human interaction, friendship, partnership at least from time to time. If you don’t have those, you won’t find them in books. If you do have those, you can lose them if you bury yourself in books. Like everything, balance is preferable.
