Both of these things are fair points, but I still believe that the other things I listed are of far more consequence. Race isn't tied to a culture the same way language, etc. are. For example, if I lived in an Arab country, spoke/read/wrote Arabic, ate Arabic foods, celebrated Arabic cultural festivals and the like, would I not be somewhat of an Arab, regardless of race? And if I was born into an Arab country, with little to no connection with India, I'd pretty much be an Arab. (Arab was just an example, this argument would work if you replaced "Arab" with "Swede" or "Latino"). So race is relatively unimportant when it comes to culture.

Look up Jared Taylor, he grew up as the only white kid in his village in Japan, spoke Japanese and was culturally Japanese but was never accepted as Japanese. As for more generations? Depends on the strength of the culture of a people. For Japanese I don't see it changing very soon, they're very aware of who they are. For other peoples it might happen, but usually only when a people/culture is in decline (such as America and Western Europe).
