Should I /lit/?

>> No.1773871

Probably not, it's a meme for crying out loud.

Hey, Tao.

>> No.1773885

If it's anything like what little I've read of Tao Lin, he'll use some really interesting imagery and descriptions every once in a while, but eventually you'll get sick to death of his constant whining.

What is he trying to do with that book cover? It looks like its being marketed to four year olds.

Welcome to the jejune world of Tao Lin.

>> No.1774037

No offense to OP, but /lit/ really needs to start namedropping more than one token indie author.

I challenge someone to use Blake Butler in a sentence.

>> No.1774039

well he's posted excerpts on "blogs" so you can figure out whether you like his "colorless" and "superficial" prose style before purchasing

No. Tao Lin or nothing.

I read Eeeee Eee Eeee because it had references to to the band IHATEMYSELF who I enjoyed when the book came out. It was bland, it had it's moments. I think bed came out at a similar time, so it will probably be just as bland.
