I'm not even religious, but there are a fuckton of perks to being Jewish. Here are a few:
1. Other religions have a mix of fear, respect and grumpiness towards Jews. They know we won't be converted so they don't bother.
2. Regular people see Jewdom as some sacred thing that you deserve mad respect for. I've asked my grandma about it, but she just said it was because as a race we have been through a lot.
3. Some pretty cool old-timey rituals. I love studying religion, and Judaism has some cool history.
4. When I was a kid I had Jewish Christmas, regular Christmas and Russian Christmas, and separate presents for each. Fuck yeah.

Josephus. It's all these non-biblical records from the time of Christ, which is right up the Jew's alley.
