Looking for similar books that cover the same topic. Can /lit/ help me out?

>> No.1769893

You know this book was completely de-bunked and is now a joke in academic circles of numerous disciplines, right?
It's complete bullshit and mentioning its name around anyone who remembers when it was popular (and its subsequent publicized criticism that ruined every shred of credibility it once had) is going to evoke knowing, condescending smiles.
You are gullible if you believe this stuff.
That said, he published other books in the same vein, just go read those.
Behold a Pale Horse or anything else by William Cooper is probably right up your alley, too.

Just stop already.

Still a fun read for one reason: there are actually people who believe it. Its like those Castaneda books....

You could read Whitley Strieber's Communion, too. Just don't take it too seriously.

And anything by Dan Brown!

I WOULD RECOMMEND "EDGAR CAYCE ON ATLANTIS"
LEARNING THAT I AM THE REINCARNATION OF AN ATLANTEAN ARISTOCRAT REALLY HELPED ME UNLOCK MY POTENTIAL
NOW I AM A HEAD FRYCOOK INSTEAD OF AN ASSISTANT FRYCOOK
ALL OF MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE

>> No.1769921

Meh, it's still a good read even if it's been disproven.

It's good for healthy mental upkeep and an opportunity to exercise criticism.

You can get tonnes of these by just astral-projecting yourself to the Seventies or Eighties OP. A cheap secondhand bookshop is fine too.

alien agenda by jim marrs
all the books of david icke
maybe graham hancock

> It involves the hypothesis that the technologies and religions of many ancient civilizations were given to them by ancient astronauts who were welcomed as gods.

Why does this need debunking?
