Unfortunately not the case, or else this thread wouldn't exist.

I don’t know, I mean, I think one should be satisfied if ones Art appeals to ones own aesthetic sensibility, if you make something you think is beautiful, how can that be bad? My stuff is pretty idiosyncratic but I enjoy that stuff ya know.

I can write 1000 pages of fanfiction tier level a year, for example, but isn't it all just a waste of time if it's not worthy of attention or renown from humanity?

>> No.17582400

>>17582348
Who cares about renown or humanity, Art is about beauty for beauty’s sake, it is a pleasure and at highest it reflects your deepest core ideas and ideals. If you enjoy the fan fiction tier and love what you do, if you see beauty in it, even if I or no one else likes it, who cares? Unless you believe of course that your identity requires the approval of people who you will never know, what’s the point. Do you think any great artist wrote his great work, not because he loved it but because he thought the masses would think it’s kino? Kek

I don't know anymore.... My mind sees the distinctive connections across this planet, how everything coincides, interchangeably, imaginatively. Is there someone on the face of this of this earth writing something that will change the masses at this very moment? I don't know.

This. I remember seeing plenty on fanfictions in my time which made me personally happy, even though they'll never be well known. For instance, that one Arthur one were the guy writing it was obviously schizophrenic and kept talking about how they didn't have genitals, were smooth on the front, and didn't have to wear clothes. You unironically will not get that experience from any of the classics. It was like 200'000 words total too. Horrific, but enlightening to the human mindset.

Yeah im in a major city and i have bars on bars on bars. Id go out solo and do my rounds at the bars talking to girls. It was brutal (but funny in retrospect) at first and i got better and better. Although my targets were girls, id have to talk to male friends or cockblocks too. Now that the world is on pause ive just been reading and working but i plan on doing my rounds again when its all over. I never stayed in on a friday or saturday night. I havent been diagnosed but i fit literally all the symptoms for high functioning autism, which im kind of happy about because it is essentially a pre-requisite to be a genius. Btw, i was 25 or so when i started and got good within 6 months. Its worth the initial learning curve. GL, anon

Thanks man, I'm happy it worked out for you. Did you run into the same people a lot? In my mind establishing yourself in some place so people get used to you being around is the first big step, happens automatically in school but requires work after that

I ran into only one person again, lol. And it was completely across the city. I guess we just both knew the spots. It was a chill dude so nbd. A big key for me was having a route lined up for bars. I could easily hit 10+ Per night. Id try my best at bar 1, then go to bar 2 and try my best and so-on. I was a nightlife expert. I did my research. Another big key was reading books on seduction, mystery method, the game by neil strauss, and seduction by robert greene. Heres the biggest tip of all: open sideways! They should be on your left or right. Walk slowly past, say something, see how they reply, then lock in if its positive, or keep going if its negative. Its a winwin, you continue on your way, which you were going anyways, or they invest with positivity and you can talk to em. Its a psychological tactic - they respond positively to keep you there or else risk never seeing you again. My go to opener was “are you american”. No “how are yous” EVER!

Oh I know, I used to love finding the most terrible fanfics and diving the depths of that. Honestly fanfics are such an odd thing. Loving a piece of media so much that you create fiction of that fiction just so you and maybe a few other people will enjoy it. As autistic as it often is, you have to give them credit that they’re doing it out of passion and an authentic drive.

How do you do it? I’m schizoaffective and when I sit down to right the noise in my head and the fatigue completely block all the words I want to write. I take stimulants but honestly I end up staring at the wall or praying and sleeping all day.

>> No.17583652

Not the anon you are responding to, but the brain becomes hardwired through habits. Your brain structure literally changes from your actions. Youll have to “just do it” and it will become a habit. I promise you. Start slowly, next time youre experiencing writers block, go write for 60 seconds. Continue that method, increasing the time slowly along the way.
