I mean, speaking from the standpoint of enjoyability, I would argue that it really isn't. The Bible is full of stories and narratives that make it at least sort of enjoyable to read for the casual reader. The Quran is mostly just a rulebook. I just didn't find it enjoyable to read through at all. Not saying that the Bible is "better" or whatever; just more enjoyable, in my humble opinion.

Story time:
I used to be the "potential terrorist" kind of person, very religious and idealist.
I was an eighth grade student, and I met a dude who was probably pan.
Anyways, I fell in love with him and didn't understand their feelings. the whole deal, great friends, I got jealous of literally anyone who speaks with him, loved to be next to him, I got a crush on him.
I really liked that dude.
Anyways, fast forward a year: I realized he was an LGBT ally and probably pan, and this annoyed the halal fruitcake me.
Fruitcake me went fruitcake, first trying to talk him out of it because fuck sal3am, then acting toxic, lying to him, acting weird and creepy around him, obsessing over him, trying to attract negative attention to him, while still acting "sweet" and "friendly".
Anyways, I really was awful.
And I mean "Cringe overlord" awful.
But I still loved him.
Anyways, fruitcake me stopped being that fruitcake for a short while that started when I met him the last time and apologized to him for this nonsense.
We went cold (but not the current blackhole cold) for a while and I really wanted to be friends with him again but he was cold to that.
I still cringe from some stuff I did with him all over the "not friends" period.
I was friends with him in the second year of prep school, but he started to avoid me more and more at the second semester of the third year of prep school, he is not to blame but this hurt.

I am in college now and he still doesn't accept apologies, I just wish if we were at least just friends again.
