Copy it out of an old book change some key words, a phrase or two. We don't know anything about you or this skank, and any poem we write in a reply will come up in a Google search just as readily as any other poem. Look up love poems by Robert Herrick, for example, and update them, which is apt anyway since his are often versions of classical poets.

I wanted to write a poem for a girl I liked when I was 16. The only thing that stopped me was my crippling perfectionism. If I had penned anything remotely artful, the cringe factor would've flown right over my head.
As it is, I never dug free verse, I only appreciate poetry with rhyme and meter. I particularly enjoy sonnets.
