Hypothetically, if you realized all your motivations for staying alive are made-up and you will never be really content, no matter what you achieve or get, why would you, in this hypothetical situation, not just end yourself right that moment?

What difference would that make? This type of mindset suggests that everything that can be considered valuable about human life is essentially external and independent from the actual experience and existence of life. That's a false perspective.
I think you might benefit from reading about Buddhism. Buddhism aims to do away with "motivations" and thus achieve a "contentment" that is far beyond normal contentment, yet it does not aim at death at all. This is because there is more to existence than chasing rewards and avoiding punishments.
