Hey anons, a few months ago I started reading and this was my first stack. I have been totally amazed at how much one can learn and change through just reading. You start to really appreciate the grey fields of knowledge and truly see beyond the black-white picture presented btymainstream media presents (that now even "educated" masses and academics fall prey too) and you truly start appreciating nuance.

What others works would you guys recommend?

I'm skeptical. Anyway, learn to use your local library. You can read books for free, it looks like you've been spending big buckos on new books. Having a huge shelf full of books isn't as impressive as you seem to think it is.

I remember the first five books I read when I got into them properly were The Hobbit, Animal Farm, Don Quixote, Dune and Lord of the Rings.

GOP normiecon-ism is cringe as hell but it shows you're becoming alienated from the mainstream, so it's a start.

Stop reading anything published after 1999, though.
