The seeming support for immigration (real or imagined) in the Jewish community is very bizarre to me. In Europe, for example, the influx of Muslims has made cities in Europe unsafe for Jews. Here's an article I read on this topic: https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2015/04/is-it-time-for-the-jews-to-leave-europe/386279/ . It even had cases of modern European fascist movements and Muslims finding common ground and uniting to attack Jews. So in my view Jews have a lot to lose from current immigration trends, and their support of immigration is self-sabotage.

It's not all Jews who support it. The more religious ones usually aren't very subversive.

A couple things

1) Family, friendships, business, institutions, and organizations exist. Their influence will always retain people to where they are now, for fear of leaving all of this behind.

2) It takes money to settle in a developed civilization from an undeveloped civilization. More than some foreigners make in a year.

There are probably more barriers to entry, but those are the main two.

I don't see a problem with this. Open borders are obviously a good thing—unless you have a strange attachment to superstitions like "race" or "nation." The only problem I see with open borders is that so many people still hold onto the aforementioned superstitions, making open borders nearly impossible because of their backlash.
